What happens
Join Friends of Lake Accotink Park for its monthly Sunday clean-up. Volunteers pick up gloves, bags, grabbers and tools at the marina, then fan out to pick up trash and dumped debris, refill dog waste bag stations and clip invasive vines. FLAP loans you a safety vest, and after four clean-ups you get your own to personalize.
Sunday, November 8, 2026, 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM EST, meeting at the Lake Accotink Park Marina, 7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield.
Free, register on Eventbrite.
